K1/K2 Apex Camp 17th-21st Feb

Hi Folks,

Due to the limited local mountain conditions we are going to Apex for 4 days onsnow camp to get a good training blaock in before K2 Provincials and K1 BC Winter Games. This will be a progression camp with focus on both GS and Slalom aspects.

Payment: Please pay 100% deposit by Sunday Feb 14 either by Paypal on
www.cypressskiclub.com , a cheque to the CSC mailbox or interact payment through
online banking (please contact Gabi about this – treasurer@cypressskiclub.com)
Your payment must reach the club by the above date, otherwise we will consider your
child’s position on the camp cancelled.

Meal plan: Chaperones will be shopping and preparing meals.

Departure/Arrival;
Departure: We will be meeting at 4:45pm at Westview Shopping center off the highway.
We will load up our gear and hit the road between 5 and 5:15. Please send your child
with a packed dinner or money as we will be stopping on the way for food.

Arrival: Leave Apex at approx. 3:30pm on Sunday February 21st. We will be arriving
around 8pm at Westview, please send your child with money for dinner on the way
home.

When the team travels coaches update the hotline when we depart from Resort, so you
should check it around 4pm for departure info, then again closer to the arrival estimated
time to see if we are on schedule. Hotline Number is 604-290-0480.

Equipment to bring;
Please bring both Slalom and Giant Slalom equipment, as well as appropriate dryland
gear. Bring swim gear as we may be in the hot tub for hot/cold dryland.

Homework – there will be time for homework in the evening if you do not have any

 Please note that this Schedule is just an example. We almost always have to play each
day by ear, depending on lift times, snow conditions, and training space. Your athlete will
stay well informed of the schedule.
